Experience
I am a tutor with years of professional teaching experience. I'm available to tutor students in writing, literature, history, comparative government and politics, political science, and a variety of other subjects. I can also assist students in French and help prepare them for graduate standardized tests. I received a Bachelor of Arts in English at Gettysburg College and continued on to Georgetown University where I earned my master's in American Studies and Social Policy. Determined to continue with my education, I earned my Ph.D. in International Relations and Political Science at the University of Delaware. I was a full time and adjunct professor for seven years, and while I was a student I was employed by several nonprofits where I worked on policies related to health. My experience as a professor has helped me develop the skills to effectively tutor students. As a tutor I focus on making sure my students comprehend what they are learning and are able to express what they've learned through writing. When I'm not working with students I spend my time traveling abroad to places in Asia and Europe. I frequent museums and I love to read, work out, and watch sports.
