I graduated from the University of Delaware, where I received my undergrad degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. After graduation, I was able to spend thirteen months in Australia on a Whitaker International Fellowship. While on the fellowship, I was able to conduct research in Biomechanical Engineering. I have tutored in Physics, Math, and Spanish since high school. I have a strong working knowledge in Physics and Math. I love to share my knowledge to help students move away from being frustrated in the learning process to actually finding enjoyment in learning. I have been studying/using Spanish for nine years and have a great proficiency in the language. I have even lived in Guatemala and Spain in order to immerse myself in the language. My Spanish proficiency includes a thorough understanding of the grammar concepts of the language, which I would love to share. As a tutor, I work to adapt my teaching style to fit the needs of each student. I am currently working on my applications for medical school and working as a tutor. During my free time, I like to spend time with friends, knit, learn new things, swim, and generally keep fit. I love to travel and spend my free time working on planning the next adventure.
