Education
I am a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in their Master's in Mental Health Counseling program. I completed my program with a GPA of 4.0. I previously attended the University of Michigan where I received my bachelor's of science degree in both Biology and Psychology. I gradated from undergrad in 2010.
Experience
I have tutored both individually and in a classroom setting. My previously classroom experience was with the Yleana Leadership Academy. With them I taught both highly advanced to beginner students in all the areas of the SAT. I raised scores an average of 250 points but have raised students' scores as much as 400 points. For the GRE, I have tutored individually and received a score of 166 on both verbal and math on diagnostic tests and a 164 and 162 on verbal and math respectively on my actual test. I enjoy teaching and helping people achieve their goals. I teach according to the Socratic method, encourage individual learning instead of simply wrote learning, and know many strategies and tricks for people hoping to raise their scores.
