Education

I graduated from Sonoma State University in 2010 with a BS in Kinesiology focusing on exercise science. My final GPA for Sonoma was 3.40 and from Capella University in 2013 with a MS, Psychology. My final GPA for Capella was 3.84 and I focused on sport psychology. My current plan is to apply to Neumann University and obtain my DPT in Physical Therapy.

Experience

While I have no official tutoring experience I babysat for three young girls and worked with the two oldest on improving their reading and writing skills. I want to tutor because I believe that everybody should enjoy reading and have the skills to write down their thoughts in a concise and thoughtful manner.

Hobbies

I love working with children as they gain skills that can help them through their lifetime. I have spent time as a strength and conditioning coach for a girls youth soccer team and I've babysat three young girls who loved to sit down and read with me. I enjoy making sometimes menial tasks more fun. I believe that everybody deserves to enjoy reading and writing as much as I do and I want to be able to help children and young teens achieve this. Outside of this, I played soccer for 13 years and enjoy going on walks with my two dogs. I also enjoy painting t-shirts (of all kinds) with my airbrush.
