It is my goal to help students become critical thinkers who are involved in their communities and the world around them. I am currently a post-baccalaureate, pre-med student at Bryn Mawr College, and I also did my undergraduate studies there. I am also now sending applications to medical school. Science is the main subject I tutor, and I love Chemistry. I tutor many other subjects as well, including Math, Psychology, Writing, Physics, Social Sciences, Critical Reading, and Genetics. I also teach students how to be successful with their PSAT, SAT, and ACT testing.It is my belief that students should be guided toward formulating their own conclusions, and to that end, I encourage questions and discussions that will help them develop their own answers, instead of parroting back information. That is the way for students to truly make the material their own. It sticks with them because they worked it out themselves.When I have free time, I enjoy running with my dog - a bulldog named Bella. I also like listening to music, and I am actually taking guitar lessons so that I will be able to play. In addition to my passion for medicine, my other interests include reading, traveling, and running.
