I am a tutor in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania. I graduated from the University of Delaware and also studied at West Chester University.I have been able to travel and live in a number of places. As a result of teaching, I have been to locations as diverse as the city of Philadelphia, rural towns in Guatemala, and the farmlands of California. I love to travel and work with new people.My experience includes nine years of working in elementary regular and special education. During this time, I worked mostly in math computation and fluency, phonics, and reading comprehension. I tutor students in a number of subjects, including elementary math, phonics, reading, study skills and organization, arithmetic, writing, math, and English.I enjoy a good relationship with my students and have a demonstrated record of helping my students significantly improve their test scores. I love to help my students succeed by providing them with the skills that they need. I believe that learning should be a fun experience and use various techniques to facilitate learning, including rhymes, art, and music.In my free time, I enjoy writing, painting, and music.
